Affiliate Terms

1. About the programme

Astro-Atasophy (atasophy.org), run by Daniel Ehrlich ("we", "us"), invites people who recommend our reports to join our affiliate programme. Affiliates share a personal link and a personal discount code, and earn a commission on reports bought through them. These terms form an agreement between you (the affiliate) and us. By applying, you accept them.

2. Joining

You apply through the form on our site. We review each application and may approve or decline it at our discretion, without giving a reason. If we decline, you may apply again after 90 days. Once approved, your approval continues until it's suspended or ended under these terms. You must be 18 or over, and live in a country where our payment provider (Stripe) can pay you.

3. Your link and your code

When approved, you receive:

• a personal link. Visitors who follow it, and buy within 90 days, are credited to you, subject to section 5.
• a personal discount code giving your audience 10% off. The code never combines with another discount. When a larger discount already applies (for example a beta price or a bundle saving), the customer receives that larger discount instead, and the purchase is still credited to you.

You may not change, share as your own, or create other codes.

4. Commission

• You earn 22% of the price the customer actually paid for each report credited to you, after any discount and before any tax. You earn it on every credited order, including from returning customers.
• Commission is held for 60 days after the purchase. It becomes payable only if the report hasn't been refunded and the payment hasn't been disputed by then. A disputed payment's commission is held until the dispute is resolved.
• If a report is refunded, or a payment is lost in a dispute, after we have paid you, the amount is deducted from your future commission. We never ask you to repay money already paid out to your bank account. If your participation ends while deductions are still outstanding, they are written off.
• No commission is earned on your own purchases: through your own account, using your own email address, or using your own code.

5. How purchases are credited

• If a customer uses your code, the purchase is credited to you, even if the customer earlier followed another affiliate's link.
• Otherwise, the most recent affiliate link the customer followed within 90 days is credited.
• Visitors in the EU, the EEA and the UK are asked to agree before we remember a link. If they decline, a link can't be credited, but your code still can.
• Our records of clicks, purchases and commission are final, except where they contain an error we correct.

6. Payment

• We pay through Stripe Connect. You complete Stripe's own account setup, including identity, bank and tax details.
  • If you are in the United States: payment processing services for affiliates on Astro-Atasophy are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as an affiliate on Astro-Atasophy, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time.
  • If you are outside the United States: we use Stripe to make payouts to affiliates. The Stripe Recipient Agreement applies to your receipt of those payouts.
  • In either case, you agree to give us accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize us to share it, and the transaction information related to your payouts, with Stripe. Stripe processes your data as described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Commission is earned in US dollars, and Stripe converts it into your currency when it pays you. Conversion fees and rates are Stripe's.
• We pay monthly, around the 1st of the month, once your payable commission reaches US$25. Smaller amounts carry over to the next month.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on commission. Stripe collects any tax forms required, and may issue year-end tax documents.

7. How you may promote Atasophy

You must promote our reports honestly, and in keeping with how the reports themselves are written. In particular, you must:

1. make no health or medical claims: never suggest a report diagnoses, treats, prevents or heals any condition, or replaces professional advice
2. make no predictions or promised outcomes: never claim a report foretells events or guarantees any result. Our reports describe tendencies, not the future.
3. disclose clearly that you earn a commission, wherever you share your link or code, as the law requires: in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides; elsewhere, the equivalent rules where you or your audience are.
4. never present yourself as Atasophy, or as speaking for us, and not use our name or marks except to refer to us accurately
5. not bid on "Atasophy", or close variations of it, in search or social advertising
6. not post your code on coupon or deal sites, and not use spam, misleading ads, or any method that breaks the law or the rules of the platform you use
7. not offer customers your own incentives to use your link or code

8. Suspension and ending

• We may suspend your participation if we reasonably believe you've broken these terms. While you're suspended, purchases through your link or code earn nothing, and commission not yet paid is forfeited. We may reinstate you at our discretion.
• You may leave at any time by telling us at [email protected]. We may end your participation at any time on notice.
• When participation ends for a reason other than a breach, commission you've already earned continues through the 60-day hold and is paid as usual. Your link and code stop crediting new purchases from the day it ends.

9. Your information

We hold the details from your application and your affiliate records to run the programme, and to meet tax and accounting duties. Stripe holds your payment and tax details. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data. We never share customers' identities or purchases with affiliates. You see only counts and amounts.

10. Changes

We may change these terms or the commission rate with at least 30 days' notice by email. Commission already earned is paid under the terms in force when it was earned.

11. General

• Relationship: you're an independent party, not our employee, agent or partner.
• Limits: to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, income or opportunity, arising from these terms or the programme. Our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the greater of (a) the commission paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US$100. Commission you have earned and are owed under these terms is always paid in full, and nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
• Governing law and disputes: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing any claim, each of us will first try to resolve it informally by email for at least 30 days. Any claim that is not resolved must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
